回信時，若想告訴對方「不好意思最近比較忙（今天、明天、後天）」英語的時間副詞要怎麼說呢？直接照英文翻的話 these days 那就錯了！因為所謂的 these days 其實是指「近年來」。

機會與冒險 — Chance, Risk, Opportunity, Possibility, Probability 英語用法解析
影片中指出若當「機會」使用時 opportunity 則用於描述可以透過努力取得的機會，而 chance 純粹描述運氣帶來的機會。此外，因為 chance 相當萬用，所以口語上常會使用 chance 來替代 opportunity 及 risk，也就是說，這個字較為 informal 而且容易造成誤解。筆者建議做為一位 EFL，最好是能多用在寫作時也能用的字（opportunity & risk）。

Thesis Statement 命題句 with TOEFL Templates & Examples.
大型作文的 Introduction Paragraph 有四個結構：hook, background, thesis, mapping. (Ref: https://www.scribbr.com/academic-essay/introduction)。而在托福雅思多益等小品文寫作時，則僅需要專注在 background + thesis。命題句 Thesis statement = Topic + Conclusion + Premises 其中，透過 Specific Topic + Debatable Conclusion 可以強化命題。所謂 debatable 指的是，如果該結論過於簡單或過於個人化，那就沒有人想去「辯論」那個話題 thesis 也就因此相當弱。此外，thesis statement 最多兩句且句子愈短自信愈強。
