百分比 ＆ 比例 + of + 單數還是複數？
使用英語表達「分數、比例、百分比、小數」時，應注意 of 後面的名詞之單複數應與動詞形態一致（在文法上被稱為 agreement 的問題）。例如 One half of the pies are gone. 或者 One half of the pie is gone. 然而仔細想想：壹、of 後面應該接單數 or 複數？貳、集合名詞算單數還是複數？

百分比及小數的英語用法 Percent, Percentage, Decimal
使用百分比計算時的英文利用 of。例如 25% of 20 is 5. = 20的百分之25是5。反過來說 5 is 25% of 20. 轉成小數 (decimal) 則使用 times。例如 0.25 times 20 is 5. 中文可以理解成 0.25 次的 20 是 5。
