Google Meet can now do instant translation for $20. Theoretically, the cost will keep decreasing and the speed will keep increasing. The quality of translation could soon surpass the best human translators in the world. The question is: Do human beings still need to learn foreign languages?

全球的語言教育現場「講授」佔全部的課程比例，筆者估計不低於 80%。然而 YouTube 的出現，讓學習者能輕易接觸到「全球最高品質」的講授影片，從中挑選適合自己的學習素材，甚至是按自己喜好找到聽著順耳的講師。也因此在不久的將來，老師們不會再需要上台講課。這成千上萬從講台上被解放的老師們，筆者相信很快，將轉職成為校園裡的「教練 NPC (Non-Player Character)」！
