為國家培養「喜歡學習」所以能「高效學習」的人民
傳統教育偏好使用「外在獎勵」來鼓勵學習者。透過不停的競爭，培養出一群「為考試而學」的人，以及其他跟不上的「討厭學習」的人。這兩個現像，被稱為「獎勵的隱藏成本 (The Hidden Cost of Rewards)」，造成國家教育資源極大的浪費。

老師下台教練上場 -- 成為教室裡的 NPC！
全球的語言教育現場「講授」佔全部的課程比例，筆者估計不低於 80%。然而 YouTube 的出現，讓學習者能輕易接觸到「全球最高品質」的講授影片，從中挑選適合自己的學習素材，甚至是按自己喜好找到聽著順耳的講師。也因此在不久的將來，老師們不會再需要上台講課。這成千上萬從講台上被解放的老師們，筆者相信很快，將轉職成為校園裡的「教練 NPC (Non-Player Character)」！
